Reduce fine lines, sun damage and pore sizewhile improving skin texture with no real downtime
– a CO2 laser treatment just became a lot cooler.
ADVANCED CO2 TECHNOLOGY
CO2 lasers are the gold standard for treating wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, and other blemishes as well as tighten skin and balance tone. Damaged skin tissue is removed, or ablated, stimulating new collagen production as heat energy is delivered to tighten the skin. Depending on the depth of treatment, CO2 treatments can be accompanied by considerable downtime while damaged skin heals.
What sets the Tetra PRO and HELIX apart from other CO2 lasers is that providers have the ability to customize the intensity, depth, and shape of the laser energy to maximize results while minimizing unnecessary downtime. Only the Tetra PRO and HELIX by DEKA have the advanced CO2 laser delivery that makes CoolPeel® with minimal to no downtime possible.
WHAT IS A COOLPEEL TREATMENT?
Only Tetra PRO and HELIX have the precision and control to deliver energy at the right depth and speed for superficial skin resurfacing results without the lingering heat that would traditionally damage the surrounding skin. The lack of unnecessary heat is where CoolPeel gets its name and why you get an immediate aesthetic effect with minimal downtime.
WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
CoolPeel, Tetra PRO and HELIX treatments are not just for the face; other areas of your body, like the hands, décolleté, and back, can benefit from skin resurfacing.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM MY TREATMENT?
With a CoolPeel, while often unnecessary, your provider may offer numbing cream or cold air for comfort. A full-face CoolPeel can take between 5 – 15 minutes. A more intense, ablative CO2 treatment can take longer and require additional analgesics.
After your CoolPeel, your skin may be red and warm for a day or two. You can resume normal daily activities during this time. As your skin heals, it may feel dry and scaly, so it’s important to keep it hydrated.
For Tetra PRO and HELIX, consult your provider about your specific settings and what you can expect. Your provider may use a combination of CoolPeel and deeper settings along the same area.
