Mesotherapy

What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a medical technique that involves injecting small amounts of various substances into the middle layer of the skin (mesoderm) to treat various conditions. It was originally developed in France in the 1950s and has gained popularity worldwide for its potential therapeutic effects.

How does it work?

The substances injected during mesotherapy can include vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts, depending on the specific treatment goals. The injections are typically administered using fine needles and are targeted to the specific area of concern, such as the face, scalp, or body.

What are the benefits?

Rejuvenation: Mesotherapy can help improve skin texture, tone, and radiance, giving it a more youthful appearance.
Hydration: The injected substances help moisturize and hydrate the skin, making it smoother and plumper.
Firming and tightening: By stimulating collagen and elastin production, mesotherapy can help tighten loose skin and reduce sagging.

Brightening: The vitamins and antioxidants in the injections can help reduce pigmentation and promote a brighter complexion.

Scar reduction: Mesotherapy may also be used to improve the appearance of certain types of scars, such as acne scars or stretch marks.

Reduced pigmentation: Mesotherapy may help address certain types of pigmentation issues, such as melasma or uneven skin tone. The injections can contain ingredients that regulate melanin production and even out skin coloration

Mesotherapy Post-care

Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect the treated areas from direct sunlight or tanning beds for a few days after the procedure. Use sunscreen with a high SPF and wear protective clothing, such as hats and sunglasses, when going outdoors.

Moisturize and Hydrate: Keep the treated areas moisturized to aid in the healing process. Use gentle, non-irritating moisturizers recommended by your healthcare provider. Additionally, drink plenty of water to maintain hydration.

Avoid Harsh Skincare Products: Refrain from using harsh cleansers, exfoliants, or skincare products containing irritants or active ingredients that may interfere with the healing process. Stick to gentle and soothing skincare products.

Avoid Strenuous Activities: It is generally advised to avoid vigorous exercise, sauna, steam rooms, and hot baths for a few days after mesotherapy to minimize the risk of complications or excessive sweating.
